I would like to welcome you to my world of photography. My love for photography is only exceeded by the love I have for my wife Barbara, my son Jason, his wife Brandy, my Grandson Benjamin and Granddaughter Charlotte Rose (aka Charlie) my daughter Debbie, son-in-law Kerry and Granddaughter Ellie Shayna.
I enjoy all types of photography as you'll see here on my Blog, but photographing people is my favorite. I truly enjoy Weddings/Engagements, Bar/Bas Mitzvahs, Quinceanera, Families, Models and just people in general. Photographing the children from the Camarillo Academy Performing Arts (CAPA) and Sophie Dance brings joy to my heart watching these talented youngsters perform. Quite often I want to put the camera down and just watch them.
There is no greater joy than photographing my Grandchildren.

While on a business trip to Richland, Washington for my other line of work I had a chance to do some shooting. The cover shot I found quite interesting, “some people have dogs, some people have cats…but how many have a wild deer”. The water fall is Multnomah Falls in Oregon. The winter scenes were on my way to Mt Rainier, but I never made it due to road conditions.

Nichole Denise Wahnon, also known as “Nicky”, born October 27, 1981, is known for her exceptional expressive personality and yet traditional core. Her Danish/German, Canadian born mother and her Cape Verdean, Portugal born father, contribute to her unique, unidentifiable traits of her mixed descent. Nichole was born in San Gabriel, CA. She graduated from West Covina High School and then attended Mt. Sac College, where she majored in Fashion & Design.
Those who really know Nichole, might refer to her as a “free bird”. Her deepest passion in life is traveling and learning more about other cultures. Her travels have taken her from LA to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, New Orleans, Chicago, North Carolina, D.C., New York and Miami, where she took up residency for 3 years. Her additional trips to Ibiza, Barcelona, and Madrid, Spain…… Milan, Venice, Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez, Italy…… Zurich, Switzerland, London and Germany, have only made her hungry for more. She looks forward to experiencing the marvels of Egypt, Dubai, and anywhere in South America.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, parasailing, boxing and hard core work outs. Shooting a few rounds at the gun range, where she earned her certified “Concealed Weapons License”, is her excellent source for releasing excess energy. Of course, for quiet time, there is nothing more relaxing than reading her inspirational and self development books that have anything to do with improving the mind. Now every girl has a favorite pass time. Shopping! Nichole however, favors shoe shopping. Her favorite collection includes Christian Louboutin, YSL, Gucci, Nicolas Kirkwood and Giuseppe Zanotti. Her shoe style is on the edge……artsy, unique, yet classy. Her overall style and ability to outfit, is a class act. This girl always strives to look her best and creates a unique style of her own. Nichole enjoys cooking and attempts new recipes on a regular basis. She loves spending time with her family, especially her three nieces. Although she hasn’t had any of here own, Nichole loves children and is able to communicate with them on their level. Her ability to get silly and clown-like, along with her compassionate, nurturing and loving personality, wins the hearts of all the children she has ever interacted with.
Although there were a few intermediate jobs not worth mentioning, the one that jump started Nichole’s career and opportunity to earn a decent income, was at Country Wide Home Loans, one of the largest title and mortgage companies at the time. Through hard work and diligence, she advanced to an Account Manager position at the third largest bank in the world, HSBC.
Nichole’s modeling career began in 2006. Her first shoots were taken on Star Island in Miami, Florida. During this same time period, Nichole was notified that a new, high end night club was about to open and they were searching for attractive but classy females to handle beverage service at the grand opening of “LIV”, located at the Fountain Blue Hotel. Nichole was one of the few chosen and later became part of the original group to open one of the most well known, most prestige night clubs in the country. Her sense of style and her amazing adaptable personality was a big draw to those who became regulars at the club. Comfortable intermingling with well known celebrities, handling large sums of money, working late and long hours, Nichole strived to be the best at whatever she did. Although she has recently relocated back to California, she continues to pursue her modeling career and is also looking forward to landing something new and challenging…….Something “unexpected, unknown, unaccomplished”…..……to further her development and career.

Jordan, who is now 16 years old, is a graduate of Sophie Dance where she now assist. During Photo Day this year i asked Jordan if she has ever modeled before or would like to give it a try. You can be the judge of how well she did her for her first time.

Robyn is eighteen years old. In addition to modeling, she loves to be outdoorsy and adventurous. She is intrigued by anything creative and unexpected, which is why she loves trying new things. Just like any other girl, she also likes to dress up and go out and have a good time. Anything that brings a smile or laugh to her life is what she strives for.
Georgia is also eighteen years old. She enjoys being outdoors, keeping herself active and taking care of children. She has many interests in her life, and has yet to choose one to go after
For the third year I had the privilege to provide photography services for one of the great Cancer fund raising organizations, Sammie’s Circle. Once again Bonnie Wall and her committee provided a fun filled afternoon to raise much need funds for Cancer Research.

Last evening a planned shoot had to be cancelled due to the model not feeling well
…….but who wants to waste a chance to shoot, not me.
So a quick change of location, convincing Rochelle McCurdy, who was going to be my assistant (and by the way an excellent photographer) to become the model, have Erin Kelly (Fashion) do a slight switch in wardrobe, Dieiree Kirst (hair) and Lanete Oretta (Make-Up) change their style thoughts .,,,,,,,,,,..results, be your own judge
